smash.am(“Smash”, “we”, “us”) is a personal goals app at smash.am. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Smash, you agree to this policy.

• Profile and app data — display name, timezone, preferences, goals, show-up history, journal entries, tasks, and related content you create in the app.
• Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and similar diagnostic information collected through analytics tools.
• Communications — messages you send us (for example feature suggestions or support email).

How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve Smash.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Personalize your experience (for example coaching and daily briefs).
• Send service-related emails such as account confirmation.
• Send optional push reminders if you enable them.
• Understand how the product is used so we can fix issues and improve it.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run Smash. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Google Analytics — website analytics.
• Meta — advertising measurement (where enabled).
• Anthropic — AI features such as coaching and daily briefs, using content you submit in those features.
• AssemblyAI — speech-to-text when you use voice logging.
• Email providers — transactional email delivery.
• Hosting providers — application infrastructure.

Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your choices

• Update profile and preference settings inside the app.
• Disable push notifications in your browser or device settings.
• Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data where applicable.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Smash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
